Kathleen Healy promoted to Financial Director!
We are delighted to announce that our long-standing finance manager, Kathleen Healy, has been promoted to the position of Financial Director.
Since joining Onestop in 2012, Kathleen has played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth-running of our busy finance department; processing purchase invoices, managing credit control, overseeing finance agreements and management accounts, and administering payroll and HR.
This thoroughly well-deserved promotion reflects the important role Kathleen plays within our ever-growing business, and of course her commitment and loyalty of more than 10 years.
Commenting on the promotion, Kathleen said: “I’m delighted to take up my new role as Financial Director. Having been part of the company’s growth over the years, I have a great sense of pride in not just my own progression, but that of the wider team. I’m really looking forward to the challenge ahead and many more years with my Onestop family!”
Congratulations again Kathleen! 🥂 🙌 🎉
As of 1st April 2022, Onestop Access will only supply engine powered scissor and booms with white diesel or renewable HVO fuel.
This is because the Government announced it would remove the entitlement for most sectors to use red diesel, with the exception of agriculture, horticulture, fish farming, forestry, rail and non-commercial heating system users. This means that any business operating outside of these sectors must use fuel that is taxed at the standard rate for white diesel from 1st April. As we don’t fall into those exempt categories, we won’t be allowed to use red diesel when we supply machines to you, and we won’t allow customers to re-fill and return machines to us with red diesel (if you do, we will have to charge you for our time to drain and clean the tanks).
Despite the move from red to white diesel being forced upon us, it does allow us all the opportunity to more actively consider what we’re doing as a business to help reduce emissions and be kinder to the environment.
As a result, we are also pleased to be offering HVO (Hydrotreated vegetable oil) fuel as an alternative to white diesel. Made from renewable, sustainable raw materials, it’s odourless (and virtually free from sulphur), there’s no compromise in engine quality, it improves engine cleanliness and above all, helps to lower your carbon footprint and improve air quality where the machine is being used.
